ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions
and Originals". There is one rule for an ACEO it must be 3.5" by
2.5"; the size of a trading card.
ACEO's grew out of a movement created by artists wherein they
would trade small art cards with each other. As it was only limited
to artists, a group quickly realized how popular art trading cards
would be with the public and ACEO's were born.
Cards by TM Root are sold either as originals or limited
editions. All are signed and titled on the back and the limited
editions are numbered on the back and include a certificate of
authenticity. ACEO artwork is always shipped in a hard plastic
casing to protect the piece.
ACEO collectors today number in the tens of thousands all over
